Hello, I'm Carelyn Torres

I'm a wife, a mom of 2 highly energetic boys and a Puerto Rican girl who now lives in Florida. I love the ocean, the warm weather, outdoor adventures, food and to travel.

My professional career started in 2003 as a System Implementation Engineer. After 14 years, I switched from optimizing processes and managing teams and projects to optimizing the health and lifestyle of moms in business.

As a Lifestyle Engineer, I guide moms in business to tap into their unique needs and natural rhythms so they can build rituals to create harmony in their lives while feeling their best and making an impact at home and in the world.

Learn more about me below.

Growing up with a single mom who raised 3 children, I quickly learned to work hard, be the "good girl" and always give my best.

That carried into my career life and looked a lot like a messy cocktail of ambition, impatience and being a workaholic.

There was a point in my life that I realized this way of being wasn’t serving me anymore.

So in my quest for "work-life balance", I hired my first health coach who helped me transform my life.

I filled my days with fun and my weekend with adventures, I got in the best shape ever while eating what I wanted without shame or guilt and was truly enjoying all of the things.

But after having my children, everything got turned upside down again.

I no longer knew how to manage my home and work responsibilities on top of motherhood, my dreams, my relationships and my health.

I felt frustrated and overwhelmed that things were no longer within my “control”. I was living life by default and feeling exhausted.

I knew this was not how I wanted to live so I took responsibility and found new ways to do things that worked for me and my family.

Learning to be flexible and adapt was just the tip of the iceberg but most importantly, I learned to let my body (intuition) lead and focus on what truly matters most to me, including my dreams/desires.

I created habits and implemented routines that support achieving my big goals as well as helped me be healthy, strong and consistent in making myself a priority everyday, which has had a positive snowball effect in all areas of my life.

It is only when we take excellent care of ourselves is when we can make the greatest impact in our children, our homes, our clients and the world.

After I realized this, I wanted to provide other moms in business with the guidance to tap into their unique needs and natural rhythms so they can build rituals (systems and routines) to create harmony in their lives while feeling their best.

Fun Facts

  • My kind of outdoor adventures are: ziplining, skydiving, rappelling, white water rafting, scuba diving. Although, nowadays is more about bicycle, treasure hunts and playing tag or in the pool with the kids.
  • I'm a food lover but sort of a picky one too. I don’t drink coffee or tea and don't like kombucha, matcha, stevia, okra, salmon among other things.
  • A good cup of hot chocolate warms my heart and brings me childhood memories of my grandparents and my siblings sitting at the table and chatting.
  • I LOVE dancing. Growing up I dreamed about being a backup dancer for artists like Ricky Martin. I’m now a lead dancer for my children. We love to have dance parties in the kitchen with Alexa.
  • I’ve always been really good at problem solving, seeing the possibilities (my clients love that I give them options and help them see things differently) and simplifying things.
  • I have an Engineering degree and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certification. As well as many gifts and talents but what usually stands out is my ability to guide others towards what they want
  • I'm passionate about supporting moms prioritize their health & wellness so they can make the impact they so much desire, show up as their best self and create a ripple especially with their children.
  • Some of my dreams since I was young are to create a space for woman where they feel safe to learn to be fully expressed and authentic and embrace their WHOLE self, a program where kids and elders can gather, socialize and learn from each other and a shelter for dogs back in Puerto Rico.
